Mary is both a forensic pathologist and author who has spent her life balancing her work with her own life and family. Her first book Here, Where Death Delights gives glimpses into who she is, highlighting the delicate balance between her personal and professional lives as she deals with the dead, the living left behind—and her own life.
Mary’s visual communication, branding and website are a means to not only showcase her expertise and share her story, but also reflect that balance; she creates space for answers, empathy, and hope. With the use of chosen colors and type, design features and visual organization, space and weight choices, I think we achieved this. Built with Squarespace 7.1 and custom coding, the website incorporates her brand throughout.
Additionally, we wanted to elevate the presentation of her work to match the level of expertise she has demonstrated time and again around the world. Not only did we display the classic ‘logo carousels’ showcasing the prominent media outlets where she is featured, but her new ‘Press’ pages allow the viewer to watch, listen and read this media, immersing themselves in Mary’s world to share in her wisdom of experience.
👉 I aim to help people find alignment in who they are and what they do. I greatly enjoy helping professionals share their story and communicate their values, building a brand that speaks to their audience in a clear and accessible way.
